Description

The left-side gate at the ticket office inside Wan Chai Pier is unique to Hong Kong. When passengers pass through this gate, staff members step on a foot pedal beneath it.


Due to the construction of the Central-Wan Chai Bypass and the second phase of the Wan Chai Development Project, the Former Wan Chai Pier, which had been in use for 46 years, was decommissioned and dismantled.
